WARRANTY POLICY 

HEARTLAND AGRICULTURE LLC. 


WARRANTY PERIOD 

  • The unit cannot be placed into service prior to a Heartland Ag pre-delivery inspection. The warranty period starts at the time that the unit is first placed into service, not to exceed 6 months from date of delivery. The warranty ends when the month or machine hour limit is reached, whichever occurs first. 
  • Base warranty period for the complete machine is 12 months, unlimited hours. 
  • Case powertrain warranty period is 24 months or 2000 hours. 
  • Case emissions warranty 60 months or 3000 hours. (i.e. Fuel injection, after treatment, SCR) 
  • Tires are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty (Customer must contact local authorized tire dealer for any tire warranty consideration) 


WARRANTY 

If a defect in materials or workmanship is found in a product and reported during the warranty period to the Heartland Ag Warranty Department, a warranty claim will be submitted to the manufacturer for warranty consideration. Heartland Ag will at its option, use new or remanufactured parts. Heartland Ag will charge a $225.00 service call on all warranty claims after the machine has been in service for 90 days


OWNER’S RESPONSIBILTIY 

It is the owner’s responsibility to perform required maintenance at the recommended intervals as outlined in the product’s operators manual. Owner must maintain a record of service history. Without proper documentation of oil changes, filters and normal service intervals warranty may be denied. 


WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER 

  • Replacement of wear items expected to be replaced during the warranty period. 
  • Normal maintenance parts and service, including but not limited to, engine tune-ups, lubrication, coolants, adjustments, filters, belts, lights, software updates. 
  • Defects or damage arising from any unauthorized modification to the product. 
  • Damage caused by failure to maintain the equipment, improper use of the equipment, lack of grease, collision, accident, vandalism, negligence, or other casualty, or operation beyond rated capacity or specification. 
  • Non-Defective items replaced due to customer demand 
  • Any and all costs for repair or replacement of parts not shown to be defective in material or workmanship 
  • Costs associated with cleaning of machine in preparation for servicing. 
  • Freight for shipping parts to customer or from customer Any and all travel costs/service charges. 
  • Economic loss, including lost profits, equipment rental, or other expenses. 


WARRANTY REPAIRS MADE BY THE CUSTOMER 

  • If a customer orders a part(s) to be installed, by the customer, for a machine in the warranty period, the part(s) and freight will be charged to the customer’s account pending evaluation. The customer must tag (note serial #, hour meter reading, date) and return tag with defective part(s) no later than 10 days from failure date. The defective part(s) will then be forwarded to the manufacturer for warranty consideration. Should the customer fail to return the defective part(s) within 15 days, the warranty claim will be denied and the parts invoices will become due and payable by the customer. 
  • All part(s) for warranty consideration must be cleaned and neutralized before being shipped back to Heartland Ag 
  • Part(s) shipped to Heartland Ag for warranty consideration must be shipped freight prepaid. Heartland Ag is not responsible for lost or damaged part(s) that are sent back for warranty consideration. (Insure your shipment for parts value.) 


WARRANTY REPAIRS MADE BY HEARTLAND AGRICULTURE LLC SERVICEMEN 

  • All charges applicable to field service repairs will be billed to the customer’s account pending warranty evaluation by the manufacturer. A claim will be submitted to the manufacturer and the customer’s account will be credited only if the warranty claim is approved. 
  • The machine must be cleaned and free from chemicals and/or fertilizer before the serviceman can perform work on the machine. 


OUTSIDE PARTS AND/OR LABOR 

  • The customer must call and get approval from Heartland Ag Warranty Department Manager before any third party part(s) and/or labor is added or performed on a machine within the warranty period. 
  • All third party invoices must be billed to and paid for by the customer. Within 20 days a copy of the invoice must be mailed to:

Failure to submit invoices within 20 days could result in the warranty denial 

Warranty is strictly limited to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty. Heartland Ag or its employees make no additional warranty expressed or implied. Heartland Ag will present the product to the manufacturer for warranty evaluation.
